Remedial Massage

A range of treatment techniques are utilised including massage, facilitated stretching, joint mobilisation and trigger point therapy. Your therapist will conduct pre and post treatment assessments and recommend (where necessary) an exercise plan and ergonomic advice.

Sports massage

Sports massage will benefit anyone who is engaged in physical fitness activities be it the proffessional athlete or occasional weekend warrior. It improves recovery from minor injuries and cares for wear and tear that is sustained when doing any strenuous physical activity for increased range of movement and flexibility.

Relaxation Massage

Designed to relax and de-stress the body; this massage is delivered using lighter pressure and rhythmic strokes. Circulation is improved resulting in reduced muscle tension and a feeling of increased wellbeing.

 

Deep Tissue Massage

Utilising deeper, firmer pressure; this massage focuses on the deep tissues of the body to treat a specific issue or concern.

TMJ Massage

An effective treatment that alleviates the symptoms associated with TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint disorder) such as head aches, ear aches or pain in the jaw and associated muscles. TMJ disorder limits the range of movement normally required for speech, facial expression, eating, chewing, and swallowing.

Pregnancy Massage

Relieves aches and pains associated with postural and hormonal changes related to pregnancy. Treatment recommended from 15 weeks.

Infant Massage

Encourages baby to feel relaxed and nurtured. Helps relieve aches and pains associated with growth. Treatment recommended from 12 weeks.
